Nicole' Jones & Leslie Momodu
Co-Founders

I didn’t get here by having it all figured out.
My passion for this work comes from lived experience. I was once a troubled youth trying to find my way—making mistakes, learning lessons the hard way, and figuring out who I was and where I was going. One of the biggest lessons life has taught me is that where you start does not have to determine where you finish.
I know what it feels like to need someone to believe in you—to be met where you are instead of judged for where you’ve been. That is why Legacy Foundation for Change is so personal to me.
As a wife and mother of a son and daughter, I understand the importance of creating opportunities that not only impact individuals, but strengthen families and communities. Through LFFC, I use what I’ve learned from my own journey to create real opportunities for others through financial wellness, mental wellness, skill building, and life skills.
I believe in second chances. I believe in growth. And I believe that sometimes one opportunity, one conversation, or one person saying, “I see something in you,” can change the direction of a life.
That is the heart behind why I do this work—and why I believe so deeply in the power of Legacy Foundation for Change.

Leslie Momodu combines a professional background in finance with a heartfelt commitment to family and community. As a mother of three and the co-founder of Legacy Foundation for Change, she is driven by the conviction that financial knowledge is a foundation for opportunity. She has dedicated her work to reaching young people where they are-bringing accessible, inspiring financial education that builds skills, confidence, and long-term resilience. Her mission is to light a path for the next generation so they can break cycles of insecurity and step into their full potential.
